The City of St. Augustine is currently participating in the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's fifth round of Unregulated Contaminant Monitoring Rule testing, known as UCMR 5, which requires monitoring for 30 chemical contaminants, including 29 per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), and lithium. 

Testing for these contaminants will be conducted in January and July 2023.  Results for January testing are provided below.  Results for July will be posted once available.  

It is important to keep in mind that no health standards (for example, maximum contaminant levels) have been established at the present time for any of these unregulated contaminants.
