Submittal Requirements for Civil Site Permits
Inside City Limits
Required submittal items:
- Review fee payment (email Public Works Permits Tech to request fee determination)
- CD, email, or other common types of electronic/digital communication, containing Adobe PDF files of entire submittal package, including the application form and cover letter
- Cover or transmittal letter listing all items contained in the submittal package
- City application form (PDF) completed and signed (property appraiser records and Sunbiz will be checked by City to ensure correct signatories)
- Boundary and topographic survey, on NAVD’88 vertical datum and NAD’83 horizontal datum, that reflects current site conditions, showing spot grades a minimum of 10 feet beyond property boundaries, signed and sealed by a professional Florida licensed land surveyor
- Complete civil site construction plan set based on the above survey, to scale, signed and sealed, meeting requirements of the City’s Design & Construction Manual -- email Public Works Permits Tech to inquire if a hard copy of the plan set will also be required for submittal
- Geotechnical report, signed and sealed (see Design Policies)
- Stormwater calculations, signed and sealed (see Design Policies)
- For domestic and/or fire protection water systems - Hydraulic calculations, signed and sealed
- For sewer pump/lift stations - Calculations and technical specs, signed and sealed
Outside City Limits
(Within City Utility Service Area) Required submittal items:
- Review fee payment (email Public Works Permits Tech to request fee determination)
- CD, email, or other common types of electronic/digital communication, containing Adobe PDF files of entire submittal package, including the application form and cover letter
- Cover or transmittal letter listing all items contained in the submittal package
- City application form (PDF) completed and signed (property appraiser records and Sunbiz will be checked by City to ensure correct signatories)
- Boundary and topographic survey, on NAVD’88 vertical datum and NAD’83 horizontal datum, that reflects current site conditions, signed and sealed by a professional Florida licensed land surveyor
