The Historic Architectural Review Board (HARB) advises property owners and government agencies concerning the maintenance, protection, enhancement, and preservation of historic resources. The board reviews applications for Certificates and Opinions of Appropriateness, Certificates of Demolition or Relocation, and may designate historic landmarks. HARB also reviews applications associated with the historic preservation property tax (ad valorem) exemption for the City of St. Augustine and St. Johns County.

Agendas are available prior to the meetings. Minutes are available following approval.

To contact board members regarding an application set to be heard at an upcoming meeting, you can E-mail the Historic Architectural Review Board up to one day prior to the meeting and the board will receive your comments.
Applications must be submitted according to the deadline schedule to meet legal advertising requirements. The application due dates as well as the meeting dates can be found here Request for Consideration Application Applications Applications.
Please submit your complete HARB application, and credit card authorization form via email to harb@citystaug.com.
