The Communications Division is responsible for the management and distribution of all public information and communications for the City of St. Augustine, including but not limited to press releases, public service videos, social media, website content, and coordinating media interviews.
The department acts as the primary point of contact for the media with regards to city government activities, staff interviews, information distribution, and all things relating to city matters that concern or involve it’s residents, visitors, business owners, and public officials.
The Event and Venue Coordinator manages the special events produced by the City of St. Augustine.
When public property is utilized for activities and events such as film productions, parades, festivals, or weddings. A permit must be obtained through the Event and Venue Coordinator. Review the Events Venue Guidelines and Forms information.

The Break Room
Listen to a weekly 15-minute program on WFCF, Flagler College Radio. The Break Room offers the community a behind-the scenes look at the day-to-day workings of city government through conversations with various city employees, engaged in a wide variety of work. The program airs on Wednesdays at 5 p.m. and again on Saturdays at 8 a.m. and may be heard at 88.5 FM.
