Communications

The Communications Division is responsible for the management and distribution of all public information and communications for the City of St. Augustine, including but not limited to press releases, public service videos, social media, website content, and coordinating media interviews.

The department acts as the primary point of contact for the media with regards to city government activities, staff interviews, information distribution, and all things relating to city matters that concern or involve its residents, visitors, business owners, and public officials. 

News & Notes

This weekly email newsletter was created in 2004 at the request of residents and business owners who wanted early access to City Commission and City Board agendas. News and Notes has since grown to include not only the commission and board agendas, but also relevant announcements for upcoming activities (especially those activities which may cause traffic interruptions), openings of city sponsored events, news releases and important and timely information. The Break Room

Listen to a weekly 15-minute program on WFCF, Flagler College Radio. The Break Room offers the community a behind-the scenes look at the day-to-day workings of city government through conversations with various city employees, engaged in a wide variety of work. The program airs every Tuesday and Wednesday at 5:00pm and Saturday and Sunday at 8:00am  and may be heard at WFCF 88.5 FM.
