Streets & Grounds

Streets and Grounds Division is responsible for maintaining public rights-of-way and maintenance of the city’s parks and landscaped areas.

Paving Projects & Maintenance

The following list is some of the areas of responsibility for paving and maintenance:

Ditch and stormwater pond maintenance and mowing
Grading alleys
Roadway maintenance and paving programs
Roadway markings including line striping and yellow curbing
Sidewalk maintenance and new installations
Street light maintenance
Traffic sign maintenance and installation

Landscape Projects & Maintenance

The following list is areas of responsibility for landscape projects:

Flower beds and hanging baskets in the historic area
Mowing
Parks mowing, grounds maintenance and irrigation, and Landscaping
Plaza de la Constitucion re-sodding
Tree trimming and pruning
