Beginning Wednesday, February 4, at 8:00am, Sevilla Street, between Valencia and Saragossa Streets, will close to thru traffic for underground water/sewer utility, drainage, and road replacement. The work being conducted by the City of St. Augustine’s contractor, DB Civil Construction, is part of the city’s Capital Improvement Plan and is anticipated to be completed by end of summer 2026.
Those impacted in the adjacent areas will be provided with alternative parking; however, the general public will not be permitted to park or drive through the two-block span. The intersection at Carrera St. may be closed intermittently as dictated by the progress of the project.
