Smoke tests begin Monday, June 3
Process is critical to infrastructure maintenance
Starting on Monday, June 3 and continuing through Friday, July 19, smoke testing of the City’s sanitary sewer system will take place throughout the City and County. Smoke testing is performed periodically in order to identify sources of storm water runoff or ground water intrusion entering the city’s sewage collection system.
The schedule of tests is as follows:
- June 3rd-7th – Greater Fullerwood & Nelmar Terrace
- June 10th-12th – Ravenswood
- June 17th-21st – Oyster Creek
- June 24th-28th – Magnolia, Uptown, Flagler Model Land, & Spanish Quarter
- July 1st-5th – Lincolnville & Old City South
- July 8th-12th – North/South Davis Shores & Lighthouse Park
- July 15th-19th – Anastasia Island
