Chief Jennifer Michaux began her police career in 1995 with the St. Augustine Police Department in Florida. She oversees the administrative function, providing leadership and direction to the agency’s patrol and community resource divisions. During Chief Michaux’s career with the department, she has served as Commander of Administration, Commander of Patrol, Sergeant of patrol, Sergeant of internal affairs, and Sergeant of training. Chief Michaux’s experience includes traffic homicide investigator, motor officer, defensive tactics instructor, and field training officer.
Chief Michaux received an honorable discharge from the United States Navy. She holds a bachelor’s of science degree in public administration from Flagler College and is a graduate from the Florida Leadership Academy.
