Biketoberfest in Daytona Beach brings increased motorcycle traffic to downtown

City creates dedicated parking spaces, fees remain in place

The City of St. Augustine will designate parking spaces for motorcycles along Cathedral Pl. between Charlotte St. and St. George St. through Sunday, October 22, in anticipation of increased motorcycle traffic due to motorcycle enthusiasts visiting the area for Biketoberfest, Daytona Beach’s annual event.

Parking fees remain in place. So, those using the designated parking area will want to take advantage of the ParkStAug mobile app, which is available from both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, to pay for parking. Areas set aside for motorcycle parking will be designated with traffic cones and signs stating that those using the space must pay to park.

Questions may be directed to the City’s Parking Division at 904-825-1090 or parking@citystaug.com.

For media inquiries, contact Melissa Wissel, Communications Director, at 904.293.3307 or via email at mwissel@citystaug.com.
