Open / Close Utility Account
Making Payments
Utility bills may be paid online through our secure Citizen Self-Service bill-pay portal.
Payments may be made in person at the Financial Services Center, 50 Bridge Street, inside during regular lobby hours, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m, or at the drive-through window 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m, Monday through Friday. You can use the convenient drop-box located adjacent to the drive-through window on the Granada Street-side of the building, 24-hours a day. You may pay with:

- Money order
- VISA
Payments may be made by returning a check or money order, along with the utility bill, in the envelope provided, to:

Payments may be automatically drafted from a customer's bank account each month. Download and complete the Bank Draft Application (PDF).
Water Service Application
Applications to establish utility service at an existing account address can be made in person at the Financial Services Department, 50 Bridge Street, or by email or fax. Same day service is available on accounts established prior to noon.

Residential accounts require a completed application (PDF), in addition to a $125 deposit per unit, a $30 activation fee, and a photo ID. The $125 deposit may be waived under certain conditions such as a credit score of at least 650 or a letter of credit from another utility company.
Commercial accounts require a completed application (PDF) and a deposit or surety bond in an amount determined by averaging two months of previous usage; in addition to a $30 activation fee and a photo ID. Commercial accounts are not eligible to have the deposit waived.

To disconnect your existing City of St. Augustine water service, please call Customer Service at 904-825-1037 or by sending an email. You will be asked to verify information on your account and provide the Customer Service Representative with a turn-off date and forwarding address.
