Visitor Information Center hosts event on Sunday, May 5
On Sunday, May 5, from 11:00am until 3:00pm, the St. Augustine and St. Johns County Visitor Information Center, located at 10 S. Castillo Drive, adjacent to the Historic Downtown Parking Facility, will sponsor a book signing by Dr. Roger Smith, a St. Augustine resident and renowned historian of the American Revolution.
Dr. Smith will have his most recent title release, The Fountain of Youth Archaeological Park: Where Legend Meets History, along with three other titles available for signing.
Dr. Roger Smith is a published historian with a Master’s Degree in the field of American History, and a Ph.D. in Early American History and Atlantic World Studies from the University of Florida. Dr. Smith’s goal is to bring the newest historical research to a general audience through entertaining speaking engagements, publications, stage performances – all while continuing his research into untold stories and history concerning the American Revolution.
