City of St. Augustine, St. Johns County and the City of St. Augustine Beach will be closed Monday, September 11, in Response to Hurricane Irma

City Commission meeting scheduled for Monday September 11 is cancelled

All administrative offices for the City of St. Augustine, St. Johns County and St. Augustine Beach are closed on Friday, September 8 and Monday September 11 due to the anticipated impacts Hurricane Irma could have on our community.

In addition, the city’s annual Ceremony of Remembrance for 9/11 and the regular St. Augustine City Commission meeting scheduled for Monday September 11 have been cancelled. The regular meeting of the Code Enforcement, Adjustments and Appeals Board (CEAAB) scheduled for Tuesday, September 12 has also been cancelled.

The next City Commission regular meeting will be on Monday, September 25 and the next CEAAB Meeting is on Tuesday October 10.

Meeting of the City Commission related to the 2017-2018 budget, scheduled for today, Thursday September 7 and Thursday, September 21, will be rescheduled as soon as possible and in compliance with state law.

Operational decisions beyond Monday will be determined based on weather conditions.
